100% agree ! I wouldn't take any of this as free gift; Waste of hard worked $$ pushing the wind ; the difference from 6.5 to 7.5 mpg is about 10,000$/year for average 10000 miles/month and 3.90$/gal diesel price.

 

Do you need the heavy rears and the full lockers? If so, then you have a drastically smaller group of trucks to choose from, and the ones that fit your criterion come with a higher price tag. Yes you can buy an 07/08 with these miles on them for 40k, but you can't buy one that's heavy speced for that money. Your examples are in the ball park price wise from what I found in my search that ended last month with a purchase. Have you thought about going a little older, to get a block with less dodads and more reliability? With a little olde you also might find one that is low miles into a re-build, whereas the 07/08s are being sold just before.
