Boring pays the same as exciting. Boring is easier.

you know where every bump in the road is, which lane you should be in, where to turn, where to fuel, where to stop, the officer's name at the coop, etc.

    Boring is easy.

I wondered already why companies couldn't trade routes around.

You would have maybe four different dedicated routes you would
switch with 3 other teams. One week you do one route, next week you do
a different one, and so on. After a month or two all of you would know
where you are going, but would sure cut down on the boredom.

My dad worked in a factory when I was a kid and they did that there. One
day he ran one machine, next day a different one.......

Never been there, but I have met a few. I used to groom dogs for some of their residents. Made me happy I never went.
Nice people just wouldn't want to see them naked.

We take 57 regardless that we don't get paid for actual miles. It's easier and faster even though it's longer.

Do you go to the paper plant? Hate that place. We always had to go to Love's to get a tire replaced when picking up a trailer. They knew our names there.

I'm going to stick with it for a little while. We are home every other day for a few hours, which is nice. We can shower and hang out at home before going back out. Home on weekends as well. My daughter will be going to college soon and then I would like to go out longer.
I will start looking at the companies suggested. It can't hurt to make contact.
We are both good drivers. We make our deliveries on time, clean mvr's. My husband has one preventable that was extremely minor and nothing came of it.
    I really appreciate the advice.
