Thank you very much KW.... :biggrin_25519: I did read quite a lot... and saved it for later... very interesting. It's sad the guy will not be coming back to this forum...:biggrin_2557: He seems to be such an endless well of information... Priceless... And I also found other websites/forums with tons of info on engine performance and such... :biggrin_2558:

I think mine is double that size. I can go for over a week on one tankful. I can go from Shelby MT, to Sioux City, IA, over to Toronto, ON, around to Winnipeg, MB to Calgary, AB and back to Shelby on a full tank. If I remember correctly.

Something has to be wrong with yours.

I drive the same year Cascadia that does this sometimes. The amber engine light will come on and tell me it's running out of DEF when the gauge reads 2 or 3 bars, and it is out when I fill it up. but it's a DEF hog that eats 4-5 gallons for every 150 gal of fuel.

When you have a box of DEF on standby and want to see just how far it will really go. ;)

Volvo has a gauge like the fuel gauge. I've gone about 2800 miles and it's dipped just below half.

Like PackRat my newer Volvo is a 780 I get about 5600 to 5800 per tank depending I seem to use more in the mountains than elsewhere. My old volvo also a 780 doesnt use a drop nor does it have regen or any other such equipment. Long live the 2005 to 2007 Volvos.
