Since switching to a job that pays hourly I have noticed I do not mind the delays like I did when being paid by the mile. If my daughter is with me we talk about what is around us and if I am alone I will usually call other drivers and see what they are up to.

Usually try to get some sleep if I can. Otherwise, read, DVDs, waste time arguing on TTR...

Paperwork. Surf the net. Watch a movie. Take a walk (if it's a nice area and not just a barren parking lot. Order pizza or chinese if it's been awhile and don't have food in the truck.
