Diagnostic help please?

    I think lungging the engine, would cause the slobber out the stack. good idea to check crankcase vent, make sure it is not obstructed.

    What kind of truck and engine? Exactly where are the spots, can you post a pic? My old pete had a dripping steering box that blew back all over the left side.

    dont use anything until you determine if it was just loose soot coming out the stacks
    my guess it that is all it is invest in a truck wash is less expensive then mucking up your engine with snake oil fixes
    if engines were meant to have stop leak they would be put in by manufactures
