Hey guys, AMAZON in Vernon CA is the worse place to make deliveries..
Amazon will refuse to receive their load .its excuses are that they “don’t have enough room for more than 1 pallet “
I was lucky that I got paid for layover and everything else, but a friend of mine tried to delivery 3 pallets last Friday and today , after 7 days , he will delivery the last pallet .
A broker just call me to haul a load with 4 deliveries and one of them is at Amazon in Vernon . I said NO!!
DO NOT DELIVER TO AMAZON!!

No.
You ask how much per day will you make for sitting. $700 a day I’d sit. 5 days $3500alds, Jarhed1964, BoostedTeg and 1 other person Thank this. -
That’s why their stock price is a couple grand a share.......
Jarhed1964 Thanks this. -
Good luck with that. I told the broker I’ll haul it for 2,400 from slc Utah to Vernon . + a rate confirmation stating that they will pay me 500.00 per day . They will not do that .Farmerbob1 Thanks this.

I would have said, ok sign right here and put refused with seal intact. Call the broker and let them handle it after that.
Jarhed1964 and Farmerbob1 Thank this. -
Had this happen to me at the Memphis Amazon distribution center. They refused the load because the delivery number was outdated. The company I drove for refused to address the problem and they all went home. In the morning the truck was clean and returned in excellent condition.

Then you don't take the load
Jarhed1964 Thanks this. -
Amazon will screw you up. They have a load date for today but will have a delivery date a month out. You gotta pay close attention. I picked up a load in Georgia tried delivering it to Mira Loma 3 weeks early. Amazon expected me to sit on it and wait.Jarhed1964 and Farmerbob1 Thank this.
