I applied for prepass a couple of days ago, and given a confirmation number saying they are finalizing my application. Do anyone know how long it normally takes to hear any updated? and how is prepass working? thanks.
I signed on with Best pass, they cover the tolls and provide the transponder. I had the transponders within three or four days. Then, a quick call to Pre-pass to give them the transponder number and wait 24 hours for it to activate.
The 1st time i tried to sign up for prepass, after 5 wks i still didnt have a transponder and they didnt seem to have any idea why. Every time i called they had a different excuse so i cancelled the order, got bestpass for tolls and signed up for drivewyse. Recently i signed up my bestpass transponder with prepass. They said 8 days fornit to activate and i would get a call to setup billing. 2.5 wks later i still hadnt heard from them. They said oh ya its ready and i setup billing. Still took another 2 days to start getting lights.
