Have a chat with the management , while
    You are
Looking for another company to work for .

Companies always threat their drivers like garbage and them
Wonder why the drivers always quit .
Find another job, and leave . After you have been working the other job for a few
    Weeks ,
Make sure the management at the place
You quit knows exactly why you quit .

Some companies require you to be on-duty for detention pay. You work at one company, not the average company. If the one company requires you to touch your ear before getting our of the truck you can follow their rules or work somewhere else.

More than that! Drivers have been conditioned to falsify their logs in order to have as many available as possible. When one wants us to log it as it is, some people, cough cough op cough cough, blow a gasket.

Find another company. If you guys are a true team willing to run anywhere and not a super solo then y’all should be making 2500 to 3000 per week EACH right now.

    handle177 Thanks this.

So they are telling you that you need just under 8 hours per day per week for each of you... or what?

Do they give you the loads to maintain that 'heavy' workload?

If they can not give you the loads to each work 8 hours per day, then why stay with them?
Sounds like you could do better.

There are some operations like that.usually expedited, they eat up the driver's time at the dock, then want to make sure it gets there nonstop.

Tbh, what difference does it make if you're sitting there getting paid or you're driving to get paid? If it's the same, then go with the flow.
