The dome light on/off switch on the panel in the sleeper stopped working. The light itself works when turned on/off with the switch in the cab. The replacement for the entire panel runs $150-400 so my question is: can just the light button be replaced or is it possible there’s a fix that doesn’t require replacement? Any help is appreciated. I would start with taking the panel out to make sure that the wire did not come off of the switch, and to make sure that the switch has power going to it.Carter8107, okiedokie, Muddydog79 and 1 other person Thank this.

Is it the fuse?? We have fuses pop when we have too much juice going to the plugs especially if you grab a cheap one from a truck stop.

A 2018 Volvo? I rest my case,,,no wait, case closed. I'm surprised they don't recommend a new sleeper, crooks. I'd say, that new a truck, fix the dang thing or it's coming through your showroom window.

Too bad X1 isn't around any longer to tell us how he'd fix it with a paper clip and foil from a chewing gum wrapper! I miss that guy!

This was what I was thinking, I just wanted verification that pulling the panel to check the connection wouldn’t be a mistake, make something worse, or break something new.bad-luck Thanks this.
