Did you know the 75 people where there watching before starting to back. That'll screw me up every time. Just knowing they're watching....

    No ####.

I hit a tight one the other day and I was grinning ear to ear. Went in for my bills, and reception lady asked me what I was grinning about. I told her and she just said "oh".

I don't think she's ever been back in the dock area.

That one deserved a high five!

Another thing that irks me about backing is drivers that have TONS of room but try to only use 1/4 of it for some reason. Use it all man! I'll wait for ya!

You want me to blind side off the street up your driveway, then sight side around a corner and back inside the building. No problem, hot it in one shot.

2 hours later backing into a parking spot at the truck stop 4 spots open on either side? I have to pull up 3 times to get straight.

It's all part of the game. Just grin, and drive on. Its all you can do.

Man all last week I looked like a rookie backing up. One dock I usually one shot I spent twenty minutes trying to bump right. Couldn't put it between the lines at the truck stop without like six pull ups.... But the one blindside I had to do at a forwarder in the valley I nailed first try. Didn't even need to pull up. I was like what kind of #### is that?! Lol. I even had a "what am I doing" moment trying to bump the dock at my own warehouse... And it's a straight back. Just wasn't my week for backing up I guess.

I remember a few years back nailing a blindside 90degree in a Classic XL and the tandems all the way forward on a 53'. Schneider driver watching called me a showoff. Later that evening I couldn't get lined up in the company yard.

That's funny, today my first back was a driver side 90 into a blindside 90 trying to get around the trailer that the yard jockey refused to move. Second back was a regular driver 45, third back was blind side 90. Between the three of those I needed one pull-up. And at the end of the day took me three tries to get myself straight and in between the lines at a company yard in a pull through spot....
