Anyone using or familiar with this "Tornadic EGR cleaner" product called Dorothy by Pittsburgh Power with respect to a 2013 Maxxforce engine?
Dorothy EGR
Opinions appreciated & would LOVE to hear from someone that's actually using one and their experience with it...
Thx!

Havnt used one myself but I had a guy delivering to the plant I used to work at that had it on his truck, and he loved it. Said that when you emptied it out it looked like little pellets of soot. Not sure what engine he had though.

Total gimmick..... Very expensive one too.
There are other solutions that are much better -

The biggest killer to that Mann diesel is the poorly designed, undersized emissions components. The EGR cracking issued are caused by required flow rates being way too high causing large heat cycles and metal fatigue.
Adding the Dorothy device doesn't fix the biggest problem. This can all be fixed through software and or components.... I don't see anyone offering a larger egr cooler yet though..
They are actually a VERY robust motor minus the garbage engineered emissions system...

Doesn't have to be deleted, the flow rate just needs reduced. On a 11+ truck, the DEF consumption will go up a little to compensate.
A huge part of the truck is in the software... How it runs, how durable it is and how much MPG you'll get.... You can vary it widely..
Yes it's illegal to run without a cooler in place, I wouldn't recommend that. -
