It’s the scale side outside front outside axle tire of trailer. So as bad as it gets!
I have 9 stops did 4 today gotta knock the rest out tomorrow. It’s flowers so not heavy. But I don’t have any big bars or sledge hammer with me to break the bead. The single tire out crossed my mind already earlier as a worst case scenario. But, once I’m done with sandy springs Ga I’m heading towards more populated areas where I’ll find a tire shop. I had half a day to waste today and I would have gotten it done but I was sol! Hoping for a better tomorrow lol

I pulled into the rest area in Rochester, WA I-5 NB yesterday. Wasn't too suprised when I came around the corner and saw 2 State Patrols sitting there watching and waiting. I smiled and waived as I drove by them to park.

I can certainly afford to take time off, what for? My truck is in tip top shape, both truck & trailer washed and looking real purdy. My BigRoad Electronic Logs stickers attached so the boys know I'm a compliant little trucker.

The money is too good right now to be sitting on the sidelines ;-)

Maybe they are just trying to weed out the Chicago and Cali renegades that make us all look bad out here. I've not seen a thing either; almost glad I forgot. Though I'm not O/O I drive for a small fleet that really takes care of their equip. Not hearing much activity from the guys I keep in touch with on here. Good to hear.

I've singled out a tire with nothing more than a 16 oz claw hammer and a 9/16" wrench. If you can deflate the tire, all you really have to do at that point is make a sharp turn and it should break the bead. Use whatever you can find to get the top of the tire started off the rim, then roll forward so the top becomes the bottom and repeat.

Why not just remove the entire wheel/tire altogether? I don't see the need to break the tire down from the wheel.

Every since the day I bought my truck, I have not ran the DOT blitz weeks. I figure they mess with us enough year round, besides, a vacation is nice. I keep my truck in good shape, but they WILL find something to mess with you on during these blitz weeks. It’s all public relations BS anyway. Look at as cracking down on these low life unsafe drivers. No thanks. Don’t want any part of it.

Because that would require breaker bars and sockets and a jack. You can just roll up on a block of wood to drag the tire off.
