Can you just delete it? Hate to see a guy go out of business over this EGR crap. Should be a class action lawsuit over it.
-
If an 8 or 10 thousand dollar hit is all it takes, probably shouldn't be swimming in that end of the pool to begin with.
-
I’d love to I should of done that to begin with unfortunately the trucks aren’t paid off and I think I might call it quits here pretty soon I’d probably get into a bigger mess with the dealership
-
Well yeah that and my insurance is up in July another 10k down payment
Been swimming in it for a while not fun -

Rawze's CollectionDoubleATrucker Thanks this. -
Think back to basics. Its an AFTERTREATMENT system. It collects what comes out of the engine. For all we know your engine could be pumping that DPF full of soot in a matter of an hour or 2.
Isafarmboy, Snailexpress and DoubleATrucker Thank this. -
Yeah it was about 15 mins of driving right after installing the clean filters it keeps wanting to regen on it’s own
So it makes me think it might be sensors that are reading wrong
I did an account in the cummins service page and I will follow all the steps to trouble shoot. The mechanic has allowed me to work in his shop and use his computer he’s an old friend. Doing some research it point to a bad DOC sensor the module has 3 sensors the whole part is about 200 bucks I’ll start there. There was other codes the previous times including a 1922 code I believe and in the steps to troubleshoot it also mentions that same sensor module. It also mentions that those sensors could be installed incorrectly and that would make sense because ever since the first time he cleaned the filters and installed them back we have had all sorts of trouble
