I think if my actions killed multiple people I should shut my pie hole and serve my time and thank God one day I may get out of prison. Have you tried convincing the relatives of the dead that the truck driver should get more mercy? Why aren't you considering their point of view?

I am not debating the gravity of the accident man.... I am just saying that because of that camera, his reaction was interpreted as intentional killing... Wich as I said, it's dumb, there are hundreds of easier ways to harm intentionally than turning into a interstate.... Was a very bad decision made by a very poor driver... And because of that camera, is treated like a terrorist...

Are you from India @Ray Panti ? If so, what's the rate of traffic accidents in India, compared to the US or Canada? If India has a higher rate of traffic crashes should the US or Canada make their roads and laws more like India? Why or why not?

I said from the beginning, I am not advocating for that guy.... I am finding terrifying that because of that camera, an accident can be twisted into a murder...

So drive MORE carefully and behave better. The driver knew he was on camera and he not only killed people he gave the state all the evidence needed to put him on trial and risk getting a long prison sentence. Make good choices, it's not just more convenient, it's the definition of the job for which he was paid. Driving isn't a video game where you just press reset and get another life and another vehicle when you wreck.

If you behave recklessly enough it IS murder. He knew he was on camera. Make choices like your life depends on it.

Why is the number of other ways to harm/kill people important to ANYTHING. How is doing a U-Turn on a turnpike by the no u-turn sign with oncoming traffic in view less of a crime if there are 100 other ways to cause that much damage or a thousand other ways to do that much damage?

I'm sure there will always be some fly-by-night, ELD editing, rule-breaking, low-rate freight hauling company run by overseas criminals to work for. Some of us would rather all of those places be ended today.

How is asking if you are from India racist? Was your CDL application racist when it asked your race?

    86scotty and Oxbow Thank this.
