Driver history reports

While I still consider myself a rookie (I don't think that will change soon, once I do, "_$_$_$_$_$ will happen to screw it up), my actual "rookie " year was August 15- August 16. In that time, a few incidents were attached to my DAC. I know that violations in the nanny state (California) stay on the state MVR for 5 years; how long do incidents (collisions, regardless of fault/preventability) stay on a DAC?
