Had a close call yesterday on I-65 southbound near Whitestown,Indiana where two bozos decided to hit their brakes in the hammer lane while traffic is whizzing by at 70+ mph!
I had to “shoot the gap” into the left hand lane to avoid them!

You are a good driver for missing these bozos. I'll bet they had no idea what danger they were in or if they were hit it wouldn't have been their fault.

They didn’t have an INKLING of a clue of how close they were to meeting their maker!
That particular section of I-65 has kept Whitestown emergency medical services busy over the past few months!

Similar thing happened to me. W bound i20 around ft worth. Taking the single lane ramp for 67 I think. 2 cars came to a complete stop. Went from 60 to zero. It wasn't wet. I applied the brakes hard and laid on the horn. I kept one eye on the line of cars behind me. Almost had a pile up .Turned out there was a 3rd car in front of them that was completely stopped in the lane. A lady was sitting inside. Car had a window sticker, like it was new. I called 911 to let them know of the situation. I was hauling foodgrade tanker but glad it was empty.
