Not all of us have given up.

What's troublesome to me about Intelliapp is this: If you apply (for example) to SAIA and get hired, then later apply for another job with Intelliapp user, Intelliapp will immediately inform SAIA that you applied for another job, before you are hired or even considered by the other company.

Why bother giving two weeks notice, they already know!

    Surprise, surprise surprise!

I'm wondering how many people on here who are against driver-facing cameras and tracking apps are fine with having many of your job apps conveyed to your current employer without your consent.

Here's the list of places I had when I unsubscribed from one of them today. I haven't filled out anything beyond a quick app with contact info, then Intelliapp starts sending reminders to "finish the application"...all these use Intelliapp... some of these I'm pretty sure I didn't contact initially, might have been via one of the Craigslist brokers...

Also, there are competitors out there, some of the more reputable offer advice for applicants... this is from ApplicantPro's Privacy Policy

History has clearly shown that no system is completely and utterly safe from breaches or abuse, since even paper applications stored in filing cabinets can be potentially stolen or misused. If you are concerned about the security of your information while applying for a position, we suggest that you follow these general guidelines:
    • Never provide your Social Security Number (SSN), or other highly valuable identity information, as part of an initial application or to a company that you have not had direct contact with via an interview or meeting.
    • If at any time you are uncomfortable with the information being asked of you, we advise you to research the company by locating their website, and contact the company directly.
    • If you are concerned about the questions being asked by one of our clients, please email us at privacy@applicantpro.com or call us at 888-633-9269

Note that Intelliapp violates the first bullet point, which was what first put me off them. Like, WITF are you, asking me for that already? This is way too early in the process to be demanding an SS#, but many people don't know that. After the employer decides they like your app and they meet you and you accept an offer, then it's okay, they need it to pay you and take taxes. Up to then there's no point in it.

I knew they was letting other companies your moves. The intelliapp really is for job hoppers. I had 100 jobs to reference it save them time to fill out.

The business model is like Facebook and Google, service is cheap or free and they really make money selling your info. The employer and applicants are the real product. All those useless calls, those employers paid for your number. They don't care if your time was wasted, you just worked for free taking unwanted calls.

For those who've had a job for a long time, I'm envious. Things have changed since you last applied, most places won't talk to walk in's. This is the new improved way to be a weaselly employer.
