Driver with false leg

The handicap parking spots are being utilized by the 400 pound plus non showering buffet eating jabba the huts

 

Used to work with a driver who couldn't speak. He carried his smart phone
and would type out what he wanted. He drove OTR by himself. When I knew
him he had been driving for several years, far as I know he is still driving.

 

I ran into a driver at a dock in Georgia (not literally)
His right arm was gone at the elbow
He'd steer with the stump while reaching over with his left arm to shift.
I was impressed

 

I still don't understand handicap truck parking.

 

By the way, this water and Dawn thing is a plumbers trick. My brother was a master plumber for over 30 years and he's the one that taught me this trick and also taught me to drive truck in '77.

Whenever mechanics are replacing air line connectors you can almost be guaranteed they will install the air lines to the connectors and create new leaks. The reason is they use a special air line cutter that leaves a small, pointed nipple on one side of the cut end of the air line. When they insert the air line into the connectors that nipple can puncture the soft O-ring. Then you need new connectors.

I had a new air dryer installed in August. All six connectors developed leaks so bad I could be at zero psi within 30 minutes of shutting down. I had them reinstall all the connectors and showed them how to remove the nipples on the cut hoses to make a smooth end.

Helps also for PV tires....that need aired up too often, in need of a plug~!

 

I could legally get a handycap parking pass thing if i wanted one. Broke my heel and ankle a few years ago and will walk with pain and limp for the rest of my days. No problem passing dot physical.
Im not taking the space from someone who really needs it. I still have all my body parts attached.

When i broke it and went to er, nurse shows me a chart of smiles and frowns. 1-10. Ask me to pick what face i was feeling. 1 no pain 10 worse imaginable pain. She didnt like my answer. Told her full of bullet holes and limbs torn off lying in a street in one of the 'stans seem like it may be worse to me.
Ive got nothing but respect for military guys and gals that come home injured.
