1. Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

I'm waiting on the company name so I can run it through a FMCSA search and see if they are someone I would consider working for.

He probably would but I don't call ads that don't have all the information. I assume the worst, hope for the best and seldom get disappointed.

If people who run ads have nothing to hide, then they will put it all out front. I don't pump folks to get what they should post if they hope to get a call from someone really interested in what they have to offer.

It has been my experience with ads like this, if I play detective, I find FMCSA Scores from 75 to 95. Now I don't like DOT inspections so I'll pass on those scores.

This one may be different but 8 times out of 10 that has been my findings.

These ads make me more than slightly irritated. They seem to operate on the assumption that us drivers and owner/operators are either too ignorant or too desperate to investigate a job before we take it.

While they may work on Craig's List, I believe we have a much wiser group of people on the TTR Forum. I also know that many of us work hard to educate the unsuspecting ones here.

So I guess my advice would be if you have something to hide, do it in the cesspool know as Craig's List because it sticks out like a sore thumb here.

If we are wrong, I apologize in advance. Post some real information and prove us wrong.

No body thinks ne bodys ignorant the reason that i didnt list everything is because i am constantly driving and didnt have the time to sit in front of a pc and list everything i figured it might be easier if i just have the person call me and i will explain in detail what we are looking for And yes we go through drivers its because we are looking for drivers that know how to do their job and not just say they do yes our csa score is high that is because drivers tell the owner that they know how to do log book and mvi and come to find out that they get into dot inspection and find out they logged 425 mph and drug the tractor tires with the breaks on and ruined 4 new tires(yes we have a driver now that did that) so the owner is weeding out the bad guys and replacing them he has put his all in to getting this company up and running and doing his best to keep it afloat even in this tough economy yes i work for this man and he treats me and everyone else with respect ur not a truck # here ur a person my pay is there evry week if we need ne thing he does his best to help us out granted the equiptment is not new 05 06 but he keeps up on it evry well if it breakit gets fixed so if i have offended ne one by thinking that ur ignorant plz accept my apology we are currently lookin 4 2 drivers so if ne one want to come to work for us my # is listed here

This sounds like my one truck operation why do I want to change. :biggrin_2559:

    Well I guess I am busted. :biggrin_25521:

I didn't spell the word wrong I just used the wrong word, there is a difference. LOL. I just feel if your going to advertise for drivers you can at least spell everything correct because some of these guys can't read very well as it is.
