I LOVE driving with both windows open when the weather allows, but I swear my mirrors are funneling every bee and wasp within 200 yards of my truck into the cab.
I get stung about once a week and have had large bugs smack me in the head spreading guts everywhere.
short of putting screens on the windows (impractical cuz I drive a quad dump not otr), does anyone have any ideas? Are there any devices out the to change air flow? What are those air deflectors I see on the “a pillars” of trucks?
    Thanks!!!!

They sell truck window screens. I don't know how they work, or if they can be used while driving but they are out there somewhere and might be what you are looking for.

Its not good for your hearing either.. loads of drivers are hearing impaired on their left side.

I keep my windows up because I was hit by a humming bird in my left eye only thing that saved me was my sunglasses. Been stung by bee's but the worst was the wasp usually after a sting you can pull over take your shirt off to get the stinger out but the wasp just kept stinging me.

I have some wind noise ever since a pro truck driver tore my entire mirror assembly off, when I open the window it's quieter lol. I see some bugs on the floor.

Can't say I've ever been stung with my windows open. And they are open anytime the temp is below 70 down to usually around 30.

Had to get bees and wasps out of the truck and been hit in the face by bugs. Also had a sparrow clip my passenger side window, come in, bounce off the passenger seat, and land on the floor bleeding to death.

Few months ago I bought and installed side window deflectors from the Iowa 80 truck stop. They help a lot with rain, might be helpful with bugs too.
