If you had a T-660 with dual drive axles ...

can you replace the dual tires on the axles with single wide tires??? why would you do that???what would it cost?

and could you replace the rear axle with a drop axle and if so what would it cost to do that??

I believe your talking about super singles? They are are supposed to be more fuel efficient and energy efficient. Now, as how much it would cost, i'm not sure. Go to a place they would replace tires in your area and i'm sure they would be glad to get you a price.

There CAN be several advantages to going with one drive axle and a lift axle. If you run a lot of dead head miles, or if you run a good percentage of light freight. By going to one drive axle you can run cheaper and lower rolling resistence trailer tires on the dead axle which saves fuel and tire cost. The lift axle will also give some fuel savings but its not a huge difference.
