    Which dry van?
    Wood or aluminum floor?
    Steel or aluminum wheels?
    Insulated?
    Metal or poly roof?

    Lots of variables..

Check a manufacturers website for details like empty weight.

I had a 48' Utility dry box that weighed 13,200 with air ride... I also had a Stoughton 53' that weighed 16K... big differences depending on specs, sheet and post vs plate walls, air ride vs spring ride, etc.

Utility 53 air ride. not sure about the tag weight, but they are some of the hardiest trailers, to get axled out. But you can take the same spring ride trailer 'and' to me it's always easier to get those trailers to axle out closer of the gross weight.

Some customers require you weigh the mt before loading it,next time make a copy of the weight of the trl and keep it for your records.Beer loads and salt loads are like that.

I don't have a van trailer to weigh. Just had some ideas in my head. I have a single axle semi registered at 65k and was tossing around some ideas but I don't think it will work. Thanks for all the input.
