I have looked and can not find an answer. Are the dsp41 41,000 lbs axles stronger then a "super 40" axle? Looking at a newer truck for pulling super b's, I know 46's are best but curious about 41's. Thanks in adavance.

I think the dsp41 is actually just a 40k rear. You'll be fine with super 40

Off-road, I usually haul 46 -50 k on the 40 axle with no problem . So it's strong enough but not sure if it's legal.

on the typical 23k single axle i load it up to 30.8k and it's just fine

    Chevyho Thanks this.
