Pulling the fuse will do nothing
Using pc is fine until you get stopped or have an accident The world will not end if you are late.

Here's an idea. When you run out of hour's that you can legally drive do the reset like the law requires. Problem solved.

Iiner: Too many people try to beat the system. Maybe I am a woose sometimes.
But I always think that if some jerk hit me that cheating could send me to jail. PC can only be used under specific circumstances. I had an o/o tell me that when he has to wait for a dock he goes of duty
That is ok. But when he goes to move to the dock he puts it in PC. That would be so easy to detect. Oh for paper logs in those circumstances. Before eld ,s became mandatory the safety guy had the trucks set up to stay off duty if you drove slowly. Now when you move from a pump to a parking space it goes to driving almost right away.Another Canadian driver Thanks this. -
It's only a violation, if your inspected, AND they decide it's a violation.
Dont get inspected for 14 days, it's not s violation.Sirscrapntruckalot and Another Canadian driver Thank this. -
Oh, man. I hope nobody follow your advice.
For their own good.
In case of an audit, the carrier has to keep your logs for 6 months and make them available.
In case of a trial, a judge can order Qualcomm to release up to 2 years of your logs.
They keep them on their servers in San Diego CA.
These are the cards. They are on the table.
Do you still wanna play the game?
When the stakes are really high?Bodhi, Sirscrapntruckalot, Phantom Trucker and 1 other person Thank this. -
Even without an audit your safety person might see what you did. They get real pissed.
Another Canadian driver Thanks this. -
You'll get suspended if the violation is unintended.
You'll get fired if you intentionally disregarded the law.
The breach of trust we mentioned earlier.
For some companies it means a lot. -
Are you required to show 20 minutes pre trip?
I don’t show that much time and never have since paper went away
I do more but don’t log all that time
If you don’t have to show it. Go back and edit all that time from previous days
And. How much time are you showing for load. Unload. And fuel?
Dial some back if you canSirscrapntruckalot, Coffey and Another Canadian driver Thank this. -
Load and unload is off duty unless you participate or have to watch. I was told that you have to show 15 minutes for a pretrip.
