My annual EGR fluid expense is pretty close to the same price as my annual 5th wheel 'toe in n camber' alignment and a full set of muffler bearing installed...

Yes I appreciate all that my concern is the model I have does not use the def fluid. So I guess I am going to have to deal with the issues that arrive with that cummins motor. I should of did more research before that truck with the 2010 cummins. Thanks You would think of all the problems with the motor without the def fuel they would recall them and make them right. I guess now I know why everyone is trading in there 2010 cummins. THANKS

Maybe I should just delete the whole egr system and stop stressing out about it.

Not true.
DEF is injected non stop. -
Yes I understand that. Thanks again for the reply I am trying to tell you my truck does not use the def fuel. It was built right before they came out with the def fuel system thanks. Let you know how things work out in the future.

Big Lou....is your truck giving you serious problems? What are your oil samples like? If there is nothing wrong then quit worrying about "nothing". Sheeeeesh....there is already enough of that goin on here these days...
-
Thanks for all the input!

Big Lou, my reply was not directed at you.
I knew your truck is a non DEF truck.
It was just to correct a wrong idea posted by someone else.
ps don't take offence but this, posted by you,
DEF has nothing to do with a fuel.
It causes a chemical reaction which leads to a cleaner exhaust. -
Thanks sorry I just thought I did not explain good enough. No problem thanks for your help talk to you soon
