I used a app called GEOTAB for a while... free for the driver works on apple and android... company pays for account with them... has oil and gas 5th line waiting on well site but also works for normal logs
allows logs to be emailed so no need to print for police and such just email it to them... drivers email not needed... uses its own
easy to read buttons simple to use... gps tracking and automatically turns you to driving when vehicle you are assigned to communicates... geotab as plug in for vehicle that company buys to track with... will report back accidents, speed, location, route taken that kinda thing to company... you can edit your log unless geotab put it on there like vehicle is moving so your on drive ... company can fix log too and re-assign vehicle to no or new driver... you dont have to have driver to use the vehicle but it will still keep track of travel.

 

Pretty sure OP is the company.

For myself as an I/C, one of the reasons I choose to have my own unaffiliated system is because I don't need the carrier tracking my speed, route, braking, engine codes, or anything else besides what they are required to have through the RODS. All of those extra features come at a cost...and even the most inexpensive units initial cost is more than a decade's worth of paper logs, and then you add in the monthly service fees for all of those "extras". That money could be put to much better uses elsewhere in the budget. Besides, federal leasing regs prohibits requiring the purchase of any product or service from or through a carrier as a condition of entering into the lease. Violate that, and I walk away.

 

Does any one has or had experience with this ELOG ?

 

3-year contract huh?
I have the same exact application with no contract. I see that they're including a tablet, but not the data package that should be included with the tablet.
No internet connection? Okay for a 1-truck operation, but if you have multiple trucks... Not so much.

 

I just got an email from them. I honestly, I never tried or heard about this brand.
They said ; you can change anything anytime . So I was wondering if this is real or scam.

 

I don’t know that 8 day tape looks a little short to me lol
