Elog approval frequency

Yup exactly. Me and the edit button on mine have a special relationship. ..

 

I'm a little jealous, I don't get that tab

 

Mine only requires it every 8th day as well.

 

And yet Canada requires you to sign your log when you start your day. Had that bite me in the behind once when I came out of Canada and got pulled in for an inspection in ID, I was like really? You guys are this close to Canada and you don't know their regs?

 

Hmm why would you sign before a shift starts ? Isn't your identity already attached with-out confirming. a future that hasn't taken place yet? In a way it sounds as though you could sign off as far in advance as you deem fit. What's the difference ?.. ok its law

 

On another thought, once I approve the Elogs in my truck.. the system doesn't allow edits..from that point forward .. they could be approved as many times as the user likes .. once every minute if the user has time.. it only allows approving what occurred from the last point of approval .. yet your name and habits are alreaady attached approved or not.. data data data and more data.. statically speaking
