My experience with Bruce Oakley. They pay by the mile. They send you from LR to Forrest City and you ahul Wheat all day. At 6 PM you fuel up and load aload for Port Aransas TX. You get there the next morning and unload and pickup somethign fo Phoenix and then load beer bottles out of PHX to San Antonio, cement to somewehere in ern TX, Scrap and or dirt coal etc and go to Ohio and then sand for Phoenix. All the time they ##### because you don't lie about your hrs and threaten you if you can't run, why don't you get a partner and run team. We hauled lots of stuff dirty dirt from md to FL, ground alternators back N, fertilwizer, salt, kitty litter, ash from coal fired generators, but they were just too nasty for me because I and my truck legal. 3 of us went to a plce in AL and had to back into a building, mind you with a 40 ft end dump and a 265 in Pete and around posts into a room and dump iron nuggets and themn called us in and said we refused to dump it there. They are crazy.

that is true but it has been my experience that with a 39'-40' frameless end dump,i pull a spread axle,that the bridge law will still screw you in most states so being paid by the ton,one still needs to keep that in mind.I always try for no more than a 78,000 gross and that gets me through most states legally and without getting pulled around back for the dead weigh.
