in a perfect world, you would descend the grade without applying the brakes using only the jake (engine brake) to hold it back, right ? The fact that you were smokin' the tandems means you were applying the brakes, which is fine if you needed to. I'm guessing you could have been in a lower gear.

i was doing sumthin wrong the whole time, i wasnt using the engine break i was using sumthin else the whole time. thats why there was smoke, i just look at the online driver manual. i hope nuthin is damaged

the moment i saw smoke, i pulled over to the closest chain up area lane as possible to cool down the brakes. everything is fine now, i hope

the truck they assigned me with had no low beam headlights, i drove the whole night not knowing there wasnt no headlights. thought the guys at the shop checked everyting and was ready to go. which wasnt the case, so i'm hours late on my load to california. i had gotten the lights replaced earlier yesterday. more than likely ill be doing swap

fuse blew out, tht was the guys fault at the yard for not fixing the lowbeam headlight problem. i thought it was a minor problem thts why i didnt took it seriously
