engine idle speed doesn't work

    Have a 2005 Century and was able to regulate the engine idle speed while parked. Las winter had to run throught heavy snow on the interstate and now not able to regulate the idle. But cruise control works fine and engine doesn't stall at idle. Any ideas ??

    check the hobbs switch in your dash as it might be mounted on an air manifold with other air switches [like brake light sw]. see if it works when you pull park brake buttons.the switch prolly is ng as it's not completeing elec circuit.
