Trucking Jobs in 30 seconds
Every month 400 people find a job with the help of TruckersReport.

I think u are right. Don’t go to the ER. Don’t go home. You signed the contact so that’s basically it. The End.
-
*Sigh*
Rookies!
First....absolutely NOONE can stop you from going to the Emergency Room. Medical emergency trumps all.
Second....I cannot think of a single state off the top of my head where a "Non Compete Clause" can prevent you from finding another job in your field of employment. Non Compete covers stuff like Confidential or Proprietary information. Trust me when I tell you, you do NOT have either. All the competitors already know who your carrier hauls for, how much they charge, and quite possibly the color of your bosses underwear.
Third...Its a blasted job, NOT A LIFETIME COMMITMENT!! Get the medical attention you need, deliver the crap load, turn the truck in, and tell them to BUGGER THE ×××× OFF!
This is a driver's market. And you are a TEAM! Ahort of both having stored dead bookers in the trailer between loads, you can and WILL find another job. Probably inside a week.
And stop believing everything some deskbound idiot tells you. -
If he says it’s in the contact u better just abide. In a couple years you can go home again.

I don't believe any of this. Obvious troll. If the sickness is as bad as needing an ER, no one would just go ahead and do as the dispatcher told them and skip the ER.
TripleSix, buddyd157 and joesmoothdog Thank this. -
Wrong!! It's true cuz it's on the internet!!!

Im confused are you referring to the middle sex?buddyd157 Thanks this.

You're both not allowed to be out of the truck at the same time ever? Or under a load?
My husband and I do a lot of security loads where one of us has to be in the truck at all times. I would think in an emergency one of us could go to the hospital and the other drop the trailer at a secured facility. They wouldn't like it too much, but depending on the circumstances I'm sure they would work with us. If they wouldn't, I wouldn't care to work for them.
Also, I would never work for a company with a non compete clause, but that doesn't help your situation now.
Call a lawyer!
I'd rather live in a tent than be bullied by masters of evil corporations. -
Crst strikes again.
