You have a better chance of home time in Ohio than most other places . Just remember , the more you're home the less you earn . Expediters average 75% availability . Many work 3 weeks out then take a week off . It's a whole different world . When you get a call you're expected to roll right away . Once you deliver you may wait 2 or 3 days for another load . Many husband and wife teams have done very , very well . Google expedite forums .

Ohio is a hot spot for expediting
Plus a great place to find used trucks
Rick is right Google the topic thats how I learned the business
There are a glut of trucks waiting on most local boards
And being much of the jobs are for the car industry, and its slow
But my bud says he is finally seeing the light
He drives a sprinter and makes 5 to 7 hundred a week after expenses
About 1.05 per mile average, pretty good for a truck that gets 22 miles per gallon.
The big money is in teams and straight trucks
The biggest problem I see is most drivers are OO
Or work for a OO and is paid a percentage, but also have to pay their own taxes
Normal cut for driver is 40-60% or vise versa depending on who buys the fuel
