Why are you blowing fuses? Years ago, we wrapped the blown fuse with aluminum foil and watch where the smoke comes from,
,,I don't recommend that today,,,today most trucks use breakers, I'm pretty sure.
Rideandrepair Thanks this. -

Where did he say that he was blowing fuse? You are supposed to carry spares.pullem, Rideandrepair, God prefers Diesels and 1 other person Thank this.

It's truck to truck. My international had circuit breakers, just reset them. My Freightliner uses blade fuses. I bought the variety pack at a truck stop.Rideandrepair and Malt Ball Cult Thank this.

The only reason someone needs extra fuses is because one may have a habit of shorting. I have a 45 year old pickup that I'm sure has the original fuses. Rarely do fuses blow for no reason. Posted in the "O/O" section, probably has wires hanging all over the place,,,Rideandrepair Thanks this.

Sorry there is a regulatory reason, it is right in the regs you are supposed to carry extra fuses.wis bang, Rideandrepair, Siinman and 1 other person Thank this.

Yup, must carry extra fuses (and bulbs, although I'm not sure how that works if you have leds all around)
I carry one of these:
Standard Blade Fuse Assortment, 60 Pc.kwswan and Rideandrepair Thank this.
