Extra fuse kit

Why are you blowing fuses? Years ago, we wrapped the blown fuse with aluminum foil and watch where the smoke comes from,,,I don't recommend that today,,,today most trucks use breakers, I'm pretty sure.

Look and see what type of fuse your truck takes. Size and amps then go buy some

Where did he say that he was blowing fuse? You are supposed to carry spares.

 

It's truck to truck. My international had circuit breakers, just reset them. My Freightliner uses blade fuses. I bought the variety pack at a truck stop.

 

The only reason someone needs extra fuses is because one may have a habit of shorting. I have a 45 year old pickup that I'm sure has the original fuses. Rarely do fuses blow for no reason. Posted in the "O/O" section, probably has wires hanging all over the place,,,

 

Sorry there is a regulatory reason, it is right in the regs you are supposed to carry extra fuses.

 

Yup, must carry extra fuses (and bulbs, although I'm not sure how that works if you have leds all around)
