EZ Pass / weigh stations

    so I got one of them EZ pass for toll stations but I was under the assumption it would work for some weigh stations as well - so here's my question

    1. how does it alert me that I am able to just continue on and not have to go into the weigh station
    2. I see a lot of other trucks just pass by the weigh station - how were they alerted that its ok to pass by the weigh station

    basically the same question but I have yet to get any kind of alert in the truck ... no flashing lights ... no buzzers or alerts of any kind

    I haven't had this thing for long and it has worked for the toll booths - just wondering about the weigh stations so maybe I wont have to slow down and pull in

    seriously - so i need a different one for scale houses - does the one for scale houses work at toll stations

    EZPass is for tolls, while PrePass is for weigh stations.
    They are separate things, but can be bundled together.
    The ElitePass works as PrePass, EZPass, and many more tolling places.

    When your PrePass signals you it is OK to bypass the scale house it makes a beeping sound & shows a green light. When you must enter the scale house PrePass shows a red light and makes a different beeping sound. The light green or red will slowly blink for the next 5 or 10 minutes.

    EzPass is for tolls and Pre Pass is for scales.

    I have PrePass, but I don’t think it works for tolls, but we don’t have toll roads in Arkansas so I can say for certain.
