    ....unless you drive a beer truck in some cities. I used to have to parallel park several times a day, 5 days a week. One-way street...3 lanes wide. The loading zone was the center lane from 7AM to 5PM. We would constantly compete with other vendors for spaces in close proximity to our accounts.

    Well thank god for that. I cannot imagine parallel parking with a 53 foot trailer and full sleeper cab. I only had a 40' trailer at the DMV.

    Yeah that sound pretty rough to do that daily.

    You know, the one thing in your post that stuck out to me is that you were up 24 hrs....being up that long is not good practice for this industry. That said, does that school not allow you to practice til the next test?

    Not really, this type of school is low cost and you pretty much pay for a certain number of hours practicing in the truck. If you need more, you pay for each additional hour.
