Give him a chance to get comfortable in his job. People can be uptight when they're finding their fit in a new position.

I went through the same thing about a year ago with my dispatcher, I gave him some time to get the green off and break his over zealous micro-managing.

Now he is a pretty good dispatcher and someone I consider a friend.

    Give him some time OP

    Grijon Thanks this.

Thank you for the encouragement simms....
Sounds fair enough to give him some time, I peddle frt here in the motor city area so the stakes are not nearly as high as if I were 800 miles from home
.... This is a mom & pops company and I basically like everyone here but I'm kinda selling myself short in the long run because I'm getting older now and should start looking for solid ground 401k, good health care, and a company that will be in business tomorrow

You will find feeble minded dispatchers where ever you go. Some are easier to deal with than others.

    That would be a hermaphrodite.

    And, a mannish woman?
    Why not a womanish man?

I guess some people are simply out of the loop on the most important topics.

    Grijon and taxihacker66 Thank this.

Perhaps it is a mental health problem, especially in a world where people don't seem to care anymore if what they are saying or are hearing is actually factual and/or correct.

Majority rules, as the saying goes.

Just consider the politicians that are in office or running for office.
Most of what they say is not really true, unless you have a certain mindset, and with a few twists in between.

Personally, I like it when someone can come back to me and correct some mistake I've made.
I try to learn from it, instead of taking offense to it.
