Dispatchers that used to drive are the worst in my opinion. "The tandems won't slide so I can't take this trailer" Dispatch: "No need to slide them... I never slide tandems when I drove." And I'm thinking that's why they made him a dispatcher.

    Oh yeah...
He gives me that line too
" I used to do that no problem"
Or at the end of the day on a Friday he will surprise me with another an extra load that he knew about all day
I don't think he has a reason to just not like me, it's more of a control thing

    Dominick253 Thanks this.

Every job ive ever had pulled a bunch of bs on Fridays. Like they forgot that they had ten loads to do by the end of the week and are now scrambling to get them done. Of course it's always bumper to bumper traffic.

I use times like this as reminders that its time to move on. You said yourself you are too old to still be working at a cheap company. Just tolerate this ### hole while applying for really good companies, and knowing dealing with him is only temporary will make him easier to deal with psychologically. In the mean time there ARE ways to get under his skin without him knowing you are actually doing it. Be creative and think outside the box.

    Update....
I guess I'm not the only one, he is now complaining about the other drivers not answering his phone calls or responding to him
I think I'm just going to sit back and watch how this plays out

I'm usually the kind of driver that just Flys under the radar anyway
