Oklahoma will not accept a digital copy of any kind. Hard copy only.

The first is that some states, like Maryland, require an original, hard copy alcohol permit. It cannot be faxed or photocopied. Until ALL permits can be electronic a driver will still need a permit book, so an electronic version is a nicety and not a cost/labor saving device.
The second is that there are already at least 3 truck specific electronic permit book apps on the market, plus a couple of dozen eDoc type programs that are easily deployable for larger organizations and can be used by more than just drivers.
The real area for electronic documents is for BOLs, but again there are already several heavy hitters in the marketplace. -
I keep a pdf of all neccessary docs in my email but always print em out too.
Better that way, show paper copy, have backup (and i have a printer in truck too) in case a sheet is dirty or lost etc etckylefitzy Thanks this.
