I was all about learning how to drive. Reading a hand drawn map was a plus. We had radios in the Bosses cars. They had a thing called A/C We backed up into sudo docks. 4 of 10 you were hired. I made 7 of ten.
Stubborn, I made it. Low wages, wonderful memories. Some Driver brought my dinner to the store. It don't get better than that.

 

If I recall correctly, Swift, out of Phoenix Arizona, is the largest trucking company in the United States of America.
