First Mac Attacks,Now Whataburger Runs!!

My truck has that programed into.
And a wally driver said they have them too.
The horn starts beeping , stops after about 5 rapid beeps.

 

The last KW I drove, probably 9 years old, had a beeper if I opened the door without the brakes set. annoying if I'm just looking back, but nice to have.

 

I was doing paperwork in my seat and some crazy female from Celedon came into the space beside me at 25 mph. I thought I was having a wreck. She went in head first.

Same on my Volvo.

 

Mack pinnacles have an alarm that goes off when you open the door and the brakes arent set.
Which is good but in a way its not because you start depending on it to warn you.
I didnt know that the alarm wasnt working on my truck one day and i got out to close the trailer doors and no sooner did i hit the ground than the truck started rolling, ive never gotten back into a truck faster! And our safety guy was across the parking lot on his phone. I dont know if he saw it or not but i never heard anything about it.

 

2017 389 dings if you open the door without brakes set. It isn't obnoxious but it's there.
