I've rarely seen a KW or a PETE Rolled or in the snow or causing a pile up or catching hell for camping in the left lane with ur feet on the dash !! I know my limits and my truck , safety doesn't come from an electronic device .. it's seat time. I bought a truck cause I don't need a babysitter or a Big Brother. So keep braggin' about these electronic devices that are going to be driving your truck without you while your out in the snow making minimum wage opening the doors for the self driving trucks !!!

 

What does eld have to do with it. Watch the weather or get on the CB.. I owned Petes and yes while pulling a loaded tanker hit black ice on I55 but I was able to regain traction. I watched a dryvan almost lost it after I did and I yelled out to him to see if he was ok... he told me he was new to driving I told him it’s slick and it’s a good idea to park until sun comes out he kept going... after I ate showered etc about 10 miles later he wrecked out...
