Heading out in a few weeks to Gary for flatbed orientation. What would be some tools or equipment that would be good to carry in a small tool bag?

    thanks for the input!!

Bunch of stuff you can get from company, such as bulbs, grommets extra fuses. Pliers, small socket set, couple adjustable wrenches, claw hammer is a good start. And wd40.

i think you can get on the FAA's website and find out. while you're with youre trainer you wont need anything except gloves and a flashlight. but they are really good about getting you to your house to get your #### for your truck. they got me a rental car and i packed up my house and took it to phoenix and unloaded it into my truck. chances are they wont have your truck ready the day you do your final drive test. i had to wait a week for mine personally.

I always carried a slap stapler to help hold down steel paper or plastic until I could get tarps on. A wrecking bar was useful on many occasions too.
