,__When hearing about load rates you think it will get better. There is always an explanation why rates are bad. Truckers are listening and not thinking about the push to stop truckers from joining and communicating. The first objective is to stop truckers from communicating. Stop that and they can't coordinate. There's a push to keep freight low and force the driver to work for as little as possible. There is always a plot to use any excuse to short the driver. If they get away way with it once that is a sign that no ones watching and is an opportunity to abuse the week spot until something breaks. And that is what Corporate America does.

One plot is to pay drivers less and force them to have to drive everyday to survive. This prevents the likely hood of driver strikes which is the most effective method of stopping the gouging and under payment of CDL drivers. Price drops does not benefit the driver and they know when it drops, to apply pressure to stop price rebound. Like gas prices. Truckers don't think that Corporate America would interfer with the natural rise and fall of freight cost. But Corporate America does every chance they get. Don't pay attention to all the sophisticated talk from Corporate America. Look (think) at the condition of America for once in your life and while your eyes are open thank about the future of America in it's current direction. Then you can go back to ignoring and beliving in what you want.

Or it's simply supply and demand.

People buy less stuff = less loads = trucks fighting over few loads

Wages are not keeping up with runaway inflation.

So where are we headed as inflation continues to rise., what is your vision of the future? ,Corporate America will find and wait for any reason to raise prices and find excuses and lies to create normality, to condition the market viewers to the price hike. There will always be a push to pay workers less and pay Corporate America more. Remember this country was built with free labor so think about the lessons that were pass to Americans and the world about how rich you can get from free labor or paying low wages. The push from the beginning has always been to pay less for wages and not to serve but to be served and entrap society to rely on servicers provided. Note that all companies need permission operate in the U.S. this should be to remind companies of their responsibilities once an environment is created where the public has no choice but to rely on services provided.

Shanghai is on lock down. 500 container ships and 400+ bulk carrier's offshore waiting to get into port to unload/load. Other ports are not able to handle the overflow. The supply chain will bog down and the "crap" won't be imported here to the US.
So, even less loads available for transport. It will be a fight to the bottom.
