Does anyone known anything about these trucks?I didn't know any american company was still making COEs. I only found out about it by accident when I was researching the Century class.

The Argosy hasn't been available in the U.S or Canada for years.

It looks like only thier Australian branch is still producing them. I don't know why you don't see COEs here anymore? When I was in Iraq, Kuwait, Qatar, and Germany everything on the road was a cab over. Mostly Mercedes, MAN, and Scania.

Cause there is no demand for them. Would you continue doing something that there wasn't a demand for?

Back in the early days cabover's were the truck to have because of length laws. Since they no longer have those same laws, conventional have taken over. You wouldn't want to drive a cabover anyhow. They are uncomfortable!

We still see the Mexican companies using COEs here in El Paso. Mostly the old Internationals like Schnieder and J.B. Hunt used to use. I seen an old KW or Peterbilt on my way home from FT. Bliss a few days ago.

They're not all that uncommon out here in CA. You see alot of FLB and Argosy shakers and 352-62 Petes pulling 57' trailers. Alot of the hay haulers run cabover Petes and you see alot of old JB and pumpkin 9700-800 cabovers hauling cans. I ran 3 real old ones. A 70's White-Freightliner with a 2-stroke Detroit, a mid 80's FLA shaker and a 1990 9670 IH. Those was some rough ### trucks. Just look at the guys driving them. They look madder than hell to be driving them.

    The Agony..

nice trucks if you like pieces to randomly break and fall off.

Au has retarded laws, which mean we have VERY short trucks.
