    no the c at the end is the gear ratio. the convertable trans would be a RTL0C-16909A or something like that. the C before the dash stands for convertable. the letter at the end is the gear ratio. only 9 speeds with the c before the dash are convertable

    No such thing as a 10 converted to a 13. Only the newer 9s will convert.

    I have learned that... I ended up going into the service department & looking like a fool with that same question before I saw the responses here.

    I've got bigger problems right now though....

    What originally started off as a small coolant leak has turned into something much larger! Coolant leak is fixed... Rear end leak is fixed... Now it looks like I'm getting a new camshaft & lifters!!! That's what I get for asking them to run the overhead. And hopefully the warranty will come thru cause I don't want to pay the 3 grand for a cam!!
