This guy works for Oakley. According to his other posts, he is exactly what we don't need driving trucks. They will have you arrested if you steal their truck, as you should be.

A buddy of mine did this with Millis. He got fed up in Ohio and bobtailed to WI. (dumped his trailer at a truck stop)
    WHILE UNDER DISPATCH!....

Millis caught wind of what he was doing, shut his fuel card off - so he used his credit card. When he got back to the terminal he left the rig.

They kept his last check and sent him a nice big fat bill.
They also punched his DAC in 1/2 with an ABANDONMENT.

..obviously this guy will never drive again and he knew it.

In your case, if you ever want to drive again - do the right thing. Turn the
rig in where your supposed to and catch a bus or rent a car...

Obviously, you're not authorized to do this, since you posted about how to disconnect the Q-comm. You're not in the right frame of mind right now, lost your wife/house etc. And you will end up in jail for theft. End this chapter in your life by giving the truck back and move on, with your freedom. You're not the first guy to mess up and end up with nothing. Gotta be strong, Pardner.

If your in a bad way then just return the truck and get your self together. Everyone has bad times they gotta go thru. You'll be better off in the end. BTW there is a terminal in Memphis, TN and Louisville, KY.

ABANDONMENT is leaving the rig and/or trailer anywhere that you were not explicitly told to do.

If you just decide to drop off the equipment anywhere you feel like it, that qualifies.
If they tell you to drop it at TERMINAL X and you do and then they ding you with an ABANDONMENT, then you can fight that with DAC.

There is no way this OP has 20yrs experience.
Any driver knows this is hard fact....

I'm lost here. You want to bobtail (unauthorized) across the country and then live in the truck?
