The dash cam is separate from the GPS.

Where would be an easy place to post a short 10 second video?
I use the Garmin dezlcam. I don't know if it's better or worse than others but it is easy to use. It starts recording as soon as I turn the GPS unit on so there are no buttons to press

I bought a $800 system and it already paid for itself 2 times.. Well worth the money...

I suggest the BlackVue camera. It has speed, gps, date and time into every recording. It easily interfaces with the phone for pulling clips. It’s the best one I’ve owned so far.

I couldn’t really go for the three camera hardwired system because of the military bases, ports and etc not allowing footage or cameras. So this one is easy to take down, easy to put up.

Which model did you purchase? I'm thinking the 650 seems reasonable and would probably do everything one needs to.

Get one any time you are able. Even a cheap temporary ones are better than nothing. If you can get em in HD and recording location in Lat Long to about 8 digits on that side of the decimal precision you are good to go. (In military Artillery that's good enough to shoot on, guess where that shell is heading. That's right. You =)

Wife got me a falcon 3 camera system. (1) on dash pointing forward, and each mirror bracket. Would have got the 4 cam system, but my trailer has a tailgate not a icc bumper
Works great and I was able to turn the internal mike off. It has paid for itself many times, just using the side cams to back up in the dark.

    Lepton1 and dwells40 Thank this.
