I have last drove in January 2023. Now it is August 2024 and no company will hire me. How do I get back into trucking and which companies will hire me?

How much experience do you have? You're in St. Petersburg, FL. If you're lacking experience that can give you problems. It's hard for Florida drivers as it is to get work but if you live in Florida and lack experience, it's a bad combo. You might can find something given you aren't super deep into Florida. I do agree, the Driver Pulse is a very good account to have. I've got one myself.

Knight and Abilene Motor Express both hire in Florida.
A few months ago both were hiring drivers with a long gap in driving, some as long as 10 years.bryan21384 Thanks this. -
