    So, aside from the accident (which was your fault), you are also evasive, and just a bit obnoxious. There must be SOMETHING more to this story. Whatever it is, I think THAT is what will cause you problems looking for a new job. Come in with an attitude like yours here, and you'll be looking for a LOOOOOONG time...
