Bad time to start in the winter

 

It's a great time to become an O/O! It's so EASY anyone can do it! Just make sure you buy a pre-def truck, because emission trucks are bad!

There's so much money to be made, it's not even funny! Like picking ripe fruit off a tree!

Try to get in with a good Landstar Agent and you'll be adding trucks to your fleet in no time! At least that's what I've read here on TTR.

 

Now that I think about it, I don't think that Landstar will take you if you have pre-def 1990 PB from grandpa's garage.

So, you're plumb out of luck on that option!

However, there's LOTS of 1099 operations out of Chicago that have white Volvo's and cloth dingleberries hanging from the windshield. Get yourself some sweatpants and flip flops and you'll be rolling in the dough in no time!

Buying a truck is the easy part.

Do you have customers? Do you have your shippers and routes already set up? If no,.. then no,.. you are not ready and this would not be a good time for you.

This is a business. Treat it as such. If you just want a job,.. then just drive.
